Pre-Departure Traveller COVID-19 Swab

Our clinic has been a PHPC clinic since February and a SASH (Swab-And-Send-Home) clinic since April as we participate in the fight against COVID-19 locally. We are pleased to now offer pre-departure traveller COVID-19 swab as one of the pilot clinics in this scheme.

This pre-departure swab is subject to certain requirements as stipulated on the Safetravel website https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/. As of today, we can only swab travellers who have the following documentation/approval: 1) approved for reciprocal green lane (RGL) for China, 2) approved for reciprocal green lane (RGL) for Malaysia, 3) pre-approved business pass from MTI and 4) other approvals from government agencies or ministries.

*Update* Application for approval for pre-departure tests can be done via https://safetravel.ica.gov.sg/pre-departure-test

Please contact the clinic in advance to check the day and time of swab. The timing of swab depends on the country you are travelling to. There is also a cut-off time and date we need to do the swab, to allow the swab result and memo to reach you before your departure. We will also need to verify whether you fulfil the requirements for the pre-travel swab.

If the swab date and time falls outside our clinic hours, we will redirect you to another clinic in the list. So it is important you contact us a few days in advance.

The swab is charged at $200 Nett. No additional consult charge.

Screen For Life

Amidst our war against COVID-19, it is easy to forget there are other ailments that afflict us. One of them is diabetes and many Singaporeans are at risk of developing diabetes in their lifetime.

At Crossroads, we are strong proponents of the Screen For Life programme (https://www.healthhub.sg/programmes/61/Screen_for_Life?utm_source=LBDHH) – a health screening programme heavily subsidized by the government. If you are a Singaporean aged 40 and above, you are entitled to screen for high blood pressure, high cholesterol and diabetes at a subsidized cost of $0 – $5 (depending on whether you hold any CHAS card).

You can also take part in the programme if you are below 40. Do the DRA ( Diabetic Risk Assessment) https://www.healthhub.sg/programmes/DRA today and find out if you are at risk of developing diabetes. If you are at risk, you will also be entitled to do the same SFL health screening at the subsidized rate.

Call us at 65927080 to book an appointment, or talk to our doctor to find out more about SFL/DRA.

We are privileged to be part of the PHPC scheme.

We are privileged to serve you by participating in the PHPC (Public Health Preparedness Clinic) scheme, as we fight the spread of COVID-19.

Under this scheme, which will be implemented from 18 Feb 2020, Singapore citizens and PRs pay a flat rate of $10 for consultation and treatment of respiratory illnesses. Pioneer/Merdeka Generation seniors pay $5.

Your healthcare needs remain our topmost priority during this difficult time.
